Dreaming about seeing the ocean with Doug. We’re going to make that happen in August!
Looking forward to having a blog friend {or two} pay a visit to my home in the next few months; (Eeeep!)
Sweating. It’s so dang hot here;
Thinking about my mom and wondering if she's ok/at peace/still "around" me;
Knowing the answer to the previous entry - just missing her and thinking about her a whole lot;
Sewing a quilt for a special girl and loving the juxtaposition of the blocks in the pattern I’m using;
Gluing the last of my blog-friend-mini-book together. Gosh that has been a long, drawn-out project! I printed the photos in the wrong size-format and was able to trim a few down, had to re-print some, and then my paper choice changed when I received some lovely Union Jack paper from Lisa-Jane, and then Whiskers knocked my labels off the table and some could not be found so I had to reprint and cut those…sigh…
Waiting to begin a weekly yoga class at our local community college - class starts August 17th!
Searching for dinner ideas that don’t heat up our kitchen; and
Keeping up with Project Life. Kind of. Photos are printed, but I need a solid Saturday to embellish and journal the past several weekly spreads.
What have you been up to lately?

Oh, how I love the beach! Think the only one I'll see this summer is Consesus Lake (my MIL has a cottage there for a week in August), and Lake Michigan when we're helping Sarah move in. Hoping to get a few badly needed cards made this morning before heading up to the hospital.
I'm looking forward to the ocean as well ... just 8 more days!! And looking forward to Phoenix, but that's still a ways away! Wondering who else you get to meet up with?!
It looks like you have a lot of fun in store! Have a great time. And as for "cool foods" - there is always my tortellini salad. 7 minutes of boiling water isn't too bad. xoxo
I've been watching July rush by! Only one week of summer school left for me. Henry and Paul are up in Oregon for introducktion. Been loving the story telling and altered book class I'm taking.
Let me know if you and Doug want to see the beach here. Would love to see you again and meet Doug.
Aria has definitely been a bad influence on Gypsy.

Your PL looks awesome Deb! I have been using the simplistic approach these days with none to very little embellishing. Quite a change for me :) I have been doing yoga more frequently these days and it has been wonderful, I have just signed up to meet with a personal trainer. A little aprehensive about that, but also ready to try something different. :)
I love the beach too...and feel so lucky to live near one.
Looking forward to seeing your blog friends album.
Your PL is looking fantastic - I'm a few weeks behind with mine at the moment and I'm hoping to get caught up at the weekend. Also hoping to take Claire and the girls down to the beach next week :)
Nice to see a glimpse of your PL ~ my design content could do with a shake up! I'm looking forward to seeing your mini-album.
I don't think going to Orlando counts as going to the beach, does it? The Boy Child has a beach date in his diary already for when he is staying with my mum in mid-August!
I too like the look of your PL spreads. How exciting to hear of visits from blog friends!
Your PL looks lovely. I had a print job printed the wrong size and had to re-do the whole thing, 31 pictures AAAAAGH Enjoy spending time with blog friends.
Your project life books are lovely. I wish I had the patience to do them! How fun to be meeting up with blog friends. Happy Friday. :)
How cute are those bone paper clips?! Perfect for doggie stories :-) Thanks for the shout out too and I can't wait to see what you did with the papers. Its actually really really hot here for a change and we are eating so much salad we are starting to turn green!
You have some nice things to look forward to!
You are right about the heat. UGH, says me!
Hope the doggies don't dig!
You have been busy. I have been teaching, shlepping, walking the dog, and trying to write a wee bit.
A trip to the sea sounds glorious with all that heat you have been having. And I can understand something of what you might be feeling about your Mom - sometimes mine seems very far away, and at other times, I can hear her voice. Hoping that you enjoy the yoga when it comes. Your project life pages are so colourful and yet cleanly designed. I guess I was wondering if you really need lots of embellishment? (I'll take my tongue out of my cheek now!).
Your PL pages look great! I need to get back to mine (still have all of June & this month to do). I so envy you the ocean visit but no more trips this year.
