You may recall my story about The Strawberry Project and that Carrie and I planned to honor my mom when we went to England last week by leaving little strawberries along our journey {you can read about it here}. Well, it turns out that wasn't as easy as we thought it would be. It was difficult to find a place to hang them, and also didn't feel right in some cases {more about that as we move through this series}. We only managed to leave four of them behind, so for today and the next three Tuesday's, I'll show you where they landed.
First of all, I will say that an additional 11 strawberries were handed out to the blog friends we met during our first weekend in London. I wanted to have something to give each of our friends, and as they were all a part of Team Teal it seemed only fitting for each of them to have a strawberry of their own. So, in that sense, 11 strawberries - plus the four that Carrie and I left during our travels - stayed in England {and France}.
I felt so honored to leave a strawberry there for my mom, and I was a bit more emotional than I had expected, but that's ok. It's not every day you leave a little piece of your mom hanging in a tree next to Strawberry Field!
Of all the strawberries we left behind, this was my favorite.
I know my mom would have been so happy.
Strawberry Fields,
forever.

I'm sure your Mom is smiling!
I love that you got to leave a strawberry at Strawberry Field - so special! xx
Love it. That is a very sweet project.
Even if that was the ONLY one you managed to leave behind your Mom would have been pleased and proud!
Absolutely perfect and how fitting that your Team Teal UK got them.
A perfect spot for the first strawberry!
Alison xx
The perfect spot....your mom would love it.
This was my favorite place to leave one too! Although, this was probably my favorite place of the entire trip anyway. <3
Now I have that lovely song playing in my head (which is a good thing). What a perfect place to leave one of Marti's berries. I hadn't ever really wanted to visit Liverpool until I saw your (and Carrie's) pictures. Such a wonderful outing you two had!

I think she must definitely be smiling down on you and her strawberries! xoxo
Yes, the perfect place to leave one of these very precious strawberries. Looking forward to seeing where some of the others have been left.
How lovely! What a perfect place to leave it too :). I am sure she would have been delighted at your choice ...
What a perfect spot for that first strawberry! Your mom would be so pleased.
