Currently, I am...

Thinking about my mom.

Losing sleep over an upcoming trip out of the country, and work junk.

Sewing little strawberries to take to England – Carrie and I have a plan.

Dealing with abrasive and cranky people. {Really, planet alignment? What the…?}

Trying to not let the aforementioned rub off on me and being semi-successful at it.

Learning to live with a dog and really loving it.

Deciding which camera to bring on a big trip. I really don’t want to lug my big camera around, but I’m afraid I’ll regret it if I don’t have it with me. {What to do…what to do…}

Waiting for the weather app on my phone to show a current view of London as warm and sunshiny. {Hey, a girl can dream…}

Planning what to pack and being confused with “pack light” versus “dress warmly.”

Catching up on Project Life this week.

Missing my girl C and needing some catch-up time.

Hoping said girl C and I can wing our way through England and come home still friends. {I know we will, but 10 days is a long time to expect pure bliss…}

Looking forward to meeting a few sweet blog friends in real life at the end of this month.

What are you currently up to?

I'm just about to go to my Combat class and wishing I could stay under my blanket! We've had some sun here but I think its gone for a while again. Fresh and chilly is about the best you can hope for I'm afraid! Have fun xx

Fraid I have to agree with L-J about the weather....but maybe you'll bring the sunshine with you.
Dogs are highly addictive aren't they??

Currently I'm feeling totally envious of my friend Deb who gets to flit off to England later this month and meet up with a bunch of our blog friends.

Another one here envious of your trip and getting to meet up with blogging friends! We're planning our first trip overseas, and I can totally relate to the anxiety and the packing dilemmas.

Looking forward to meeting up with you and Carrie and other blog friends, seeing Ben at the weekend and spending the day with my Mum later in the month on her birthday. What am I NOT looking forward to? A trip to see the ObGyn on Friday!

Don't mean to add to packing confusion, but take all the cameras you can....Yes, the big camera will be a pain, but you will regret not having it and it's not like you'll get back there next season! And you will need smaller methods for photos to offset when Thr big camera is too bulky! I have yet to own a really good camera when I've traveled and I got some really good photos in France, but oh what they could have been with a better lens! Good luck!❤

You can never trust the English weather so pack clothes that you can layer up! Yesterday it was glorious here, really spring like, today - back to the cold again!

id pack the big camera, there will be times and scenes you will want the better photos from it.

Can't wait to hear about your awesome journey!

Love the picture of you and your list, and please, for my sake, do not bring the big camera.

One way to pack light(er) is to limit the number of shoes you bring - you'll definitely need something like a small boot for walking in the rain. Also, a good rain jacket that you can layer over a sweater. Lay everything several days (or even a week) before. Edit it down and then pack.
Given your love of photography and developing skills, I would take your DSLR but maybe limit the number of lenses.

Love that photo of the 2 of you. I'd take the DSLR. We took every camera we could when we went. One extra thing I'd pack is a small umbrella. BTW, did I say how much I envy you Carrie this trip. :)
What am I not looking forward to - having to pack up tonight to go home tomorrow (:
