It's time.

♥ ♥ ♥
There is an appointed time for everything.
And there is a time for every event under heaven:
A time to give birth and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.
A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to weep and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing.
A time to search and a time to give up as lost;
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;
A time to be silent and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate;
A time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-15

This past week has been a whirlwind of emotions for Doug and I. Neither of us have ever experienced losing someone we loved to suicide. There are so many things I'd love to write about, so many feelings that I want to share, but out of respect for our dear friend's family I don't think it would be appropriate. This is the last time I will mention this episode in our life on my blog. It's time to get back to life. It's time to get back to blogging.

Wanna' see some crafts?

I'm participating in a craft boutique with my friend Janae this weekend. I've been busy busy busy making things to sell at our table {there will be a total of 35 tables at this fair}. I embellished a few of these Bazzill magnetic frames that I've had in my collection for a while - picked them up at a close out sale for cheap. I almost want to keep this one that says "joy" - my word for 2010.

I have lots of other pictures of things I've made for the sale that I'll be sharing in the upcoming week. Until then, I have lots of catching up to do on my favorite blogs...

November Attitude of Gratitude
* I am grateful for my collection of buttons and my quest to use them up.
* I am grateful for the opportunity to sell my wares at a boutique with Janae {and Carrie in tow}.
* I am grateful for a husband who is such a good friend to others. He inspires me every day.

My 15 year old's favorite song is "Turn Turn Turn" by the Byrds. I'm with your mom. It's a beautiful verse. Best of luck on your fair. What luck buyers you'll find.

adore the frames Deb, I'm sure you will have so much fun with your stall. Great to see the abudnance of buttons.

your positive nature and ability to put on the normal happy persona is striking (and not unlike my own way of dealing with stuff)

stay strong

You've been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
