Babysitting Carrie's dog {Marcus} while she's in Orlando. Took him on a nice long walk this morning and felt like such a good grandma. Later, Doug found him across the street in the neighbor's front yard because I hadn't latched the gate. :o\ Bad grandma. I hope she'll trust me with grandchildren someday!!!

Sunday's text messaging: (She misses her dog and inquires about his well being...)
Me: "We think Marcus buried his orange squeaky ball. Haven't seen it since his first day."
Carrie: "...or maybe he took it out of the backyard on his day out."
Me: "Very funny."

And on a completely different subject, Doug and I are re-finishing 1,200 sq. ft. of our floors with tile {note the flooring at Marcus' feet}. We're up to our eyeballs in dust and mortar. It's looking great but we have a long way to go. I'll post pictures of our progress soon!

He is a cute one! Good luck with the project. We're recuperating here. Laid low most of the weekend except for a bbq, so she rested up.
