A new apron for the occasion...

This is another post about party prep for my hubby's casino theme party next week. I know, I know, I'll be glad when it's here and done too!
*****
Since the party is at our house, I know that I will be in the kitchen the hour before guests arrive and will already be dressed for the party [black cocktail dress :o} ]. I wanted a new apron to wear for the occasion ~ until I'm done putting out the hors devours ~ so I made this little goody last night:

(Do these ruffles make my butt look big? hehe)

Happy times already happening with this apron...
PS: My apron brooch this time has the suits of cards hanging from each ribbon end. :o)

So funny that I was looking at it the very moment I got your text! That is so adorable! And you look so cute! Actually, it makes your behind look tiny! Great pics, Carrie! xo

You look like you’re having fun already. Makes me want an apron myself. And how cute you look...

That sounds like a fun party ... can you share some of the game/casino stuff you're planning? I think our friends would much prefer this than a myster dinner night! LOL

Oops ... nevermind - I just read about them in the last post. :)

your apron looks gorgeous... aprons are on my wishlist of "things I want to have a go at stuffing up" ~lol~

from memory, australia to american conversion are 100g butter = 3/4cup, 180g of choc = 6oz (ish) (I looked up the conversions online for you, check out "gourmetsleuth" if you want to try any more of my recipes)

Love the ruffle. So whimsical -- which is something I think an apron really ought to be.
