One Photo Weekend

Hey there, blog friends.
When you sit down to write a weekend recap blog post and the only photo you have to share is of your husband's dirty hunting clothes on the bathroom floor...

My weekend was a mix of Doug being away on a hunting trip, me being present at yoga teacher training, my California family mourning the loss of a loved one , making plans for Thanksgiving and dealing with a little drama in the mix (oh, family...). Cap it all off with Doug bringing a dead deer home and you have...well...a weekend for the books.

I'll just wish us all a week full of blessings and call it a wrap.
Gosh, I can't wait for next weekend to try again!
Keep smiling! :o)

I'm sure I should be pleased for Doug, but all I can think about is that poor deer! I used to work with someone whose husband used to hunt and she would explain how the deer population needs to be kept down but even so those bambi eyes keep coming to mind!
Sorry to hear that there's been a loss in the family and some drama close to home - may the rest of your week be peaceful and happy.

Sorry to hear about your family's recent loss. I know only to well that it brings about so many feelings of grief, sadness, wonder/why but I truly believe in the power of a shared trouble ... oh and family drama, yep know that one, talk about reality shows! Sending you lots of cyber hugs for a week of happy wonders.

Sorry to read of your loss, Deb. As for drama, there always seems to be some going down in our extended family! You did one better than me with the photos. It wasn't until I started to blog this afternoon, that I realised I hadn't taken any at all!

That's a lot to deal with; no wonder you only have one photograph. Sorry to hear about your loss, and the family conflict!

I am sorry for your loss. And I hope the family troubles get sorted quickly! What will you do with the deer? Do you cut it up and freeze it? Have a good week!

I am sad to hear such difficult news for you and the family ... and hope that there will be a resolution of difficulties soon. And I have no idea how I would cope if someone turned up with a dead deer. What on earth do you do with it?
