Remember when I used to blog about crafting and baking and gardening?
♥
I'll admit that I kind of miss that about PaperTurtle - the crafting and baking and gardening - but that's the way it goes with a personal blog, I suppose. This blog has always mirrored what's going on in my life, and right now it's yoga and mandala drawing. Long time readers will remember a time when this blog was all about my mom's fight against cancer. That was not my favorite time for blogging, but I can't imagine having gone through that time without my blogging community.Crafting and the other stuff are still hanging out in the background, and they'll pop up from time to time here on this blog; of that I'm sure. But for today I have no words of wisdom, no silly antidotes to share with you, just another mandala to add to my growing collection...
Every mandala I draw is different, but I think it's interesting to see my style emerging with each mandala that I've drawn. I love the feminine nature of my mandalas. This really is my current favorite craft.
I'm going to be offering a yoga class and mandala workshop for my local yoga friends in the near future. I'm working out the details of the poses and the art, and I can hardly wait to share that here.

loving your feminine mandalas and that you use good drawing paper and nice pencils
I am loving your mandelas and I think blogs changing and morphing based on where we are in life are the ones that make it easiest to feel connected to the person. I tried to leave a comment on your weekend recap yesterday but it wouldn't let me :( Love the pic of you and Doug and the way you chose to spend the day. It is freezing here and I can't wait for spring and seeing you!
Would you consider doing a tutorial on mandala making? Mine always look a mess!
I think this one may be my favorite!
Yes, that's a really pretty one.
I really enjoy the way your blog mirrors what you have going on in your life.
These are so beautiful Deb. I agree with Sian, I love the way your blog mirrors your life. I'm very jealous of your local friends getting a yoga class. Fancy popping across the pond to do one here?!
Loving your mandalas.
This one is particularly beautiful!
Lovely mandalas.....it must be so peaceful to create them too. I think our blogs do follow our interests and passions and that makes them real and dynamic.
Always enjoy reading here, Deb!

Those of us who blog without agenda or sponsorship usually find that they end up on a different path from the one they started out on. I know I did.
I love this one!
And I'm just glad you're still blogging, no matter what you're blogging about. And I'd love to see an online mandala class ...

I LOVE your mandalas ~ this one is so gorgeous! (my lack of blogging is so sad.....does that mean I'm not evolving at all? haha!)
