Good Monday morning, blog friends.
I hope you all had a lovely Father's Day weekend.
Here's a little look from around our place these past couple of days.

Both of our turtles were out and about a lot this weekend. We see Casper, our baby box turtle, daily because she lives indoors, but Rexy is a bit more illusive. I was actually able to take a few photos of him on Saturday morning. Here's one I posted to Instagram:
Saturday morning while the turtles were roaming, Whiskers could do nothing but lounge...
After seeing this really cool tutorial for chalkboard art, I had planned to do something really fancy for Father's Day, but I ran out of time so I kept it simple {turtle style}:
We had Doug's family over for a pancake breakfast for Father's Day, and Carrie was here to honor Doug. She had breakfast with us, then went out for lunch and a movie with her own dad. Few things warm my heart the way these two do...
And yesterday afternoon when I
And here we go with another busy week. I've got a busy work week ahead, and a few craft/sewing projects that are keeping me awake at night {must get them out of my head and out through my fingers soon...}.
Here's wishing for a fantastic week ahead.
I'll do my best to make it so.

Sweet animals and sweet ladies!
I don't have unlimited phone use (bummer)
so I'm staying off IG until a new month happens.
You have such a talent for encapsulating a lot in one picture. It's always a pleasure to see
I love these weekend round ups! Good to see Rexy out of hibernation again.
I never did comment on 'pudding'! It was certainly amazingly tasty and easy to make and reminded me of a product we have here called 'Angel Delight'. I'm going to try the chocolate one next and put it in a biscuit crust - I like the sound of that!
Looks like you had a good weekend. We did, too! Love those turtle photos, and of course, the one of Carrie and Doug!
Lovely to see Rex....and gorgeous photo of Doug and Carrie.
I always giggle when I see Rex as I used to work for a guy called Rex and we called him Sexy Rexy. In fact you could not have met a less sexy guy! Glad you has such a fine weekend
You had a productive weekend. Productive and fun, the best kind.
Lovely to see Caspar and Rexy peeking out - your photos are beautifully sharp. That sounds like such a thoughtful thing to do, make mini books :). Ooh, sewing projects - tell us more. Mine just seem to be of the mending type!
Like the look of your mini!
