My friend Helena started a fun photo prompt on her blog called Looking Up / Looking Down. I finally remembered to take a couple of photos, and I'm sharing them today.
I was sitting on our living room the other day, trying to get a photo of our cat,
Whiskers Jay. From where I sat I looked up and saw our front entry way. {click}
I stood up in the very same spot and snapped a photo looking down - honest
to goodness, I did not move and the cat came to me. {click}
I loved the way this photo prompt helped me stop and be in the moment.
What do you see when you look up, and then look down.
Anything photo worthy?

A light fixture that needs dusting and a kitchen floor that needs scrubbing...I don't think I like this prompt lol
Even though we are thousands of miles apart, like Beverly, I am looking up at a light fixture that needs the attention of a feather duster! I'm in the lounge, where we've just finished lunch and now the carpet could do with a vacuum too!
I think I'll give this prompt a miss at the moment too ;) Nothing particularly photo worthy at the moment. ;) x
so glad you joined in - love the arrows you used to present the pair. I'm finding that looking up and down is making me mroe mindful of the everyday
I like the photos my blog friends are posting with this prompt. I too don't think mine is photo worthy though. If i look up I see a wonky college ceiling and if I look down I see piles of notes and essay plans. Neither is good! he he! How lovely to get the cat in your photo!
Toes that need a pedicure and a ceiling that needs molding. (I'm a wee bit whiny today!)
I thought of you today when we were on the beach searching for heart shaped pebbles! If I look down I see my blanket over my legs - its cold here!
I think that cat is after your toes!

In a worrisome development, I am beginning to see my stomach when I look down.
I am really enjoying this prompt so far this year - good to see your 'ups and downs'!
Ooooh! Bare feet, I would love to be warm enough to do that. Love these.
I am hopeful that another couple of weeks might see me in bare feet here!
