Quick Weekend Recap

Hello, friends.
We had a busy weekend and I took a ton of photos, but I have only three to share with you today. I have a full plate with work and getting ready for a trip to California at the end of this week to visit my mom, so my blogging will be lower on the list of priorities for the next several days. We'll see what I can do...

My sweet friend Barbara hosted a crafty get-together on Saturday morning. I have no Instagram shots to share, but it warrants mentioning as it was a much needed time for me to be with a few friends, be a little crafty, and eat lots of cookies. {Thanks, Barbara!!! }

I've been telling Doug that I need a mountain, so Saturday after my time at Barbara's we threw a few things in the car and headed for Sedona. The drive there is always beautiful, but on Saturday there were some puffy clouds thrown in the mix - gorgeous!

I wanted to stop at this chapel on our way into town. The views from here are spectacular, and I wanted to light a candle for my mom.

My mom's cancer is progressing at what seems like a rapid pace now. She is so uncomfortable, and having a difficult time emotionally too {as could be expected}. We are so very grateful for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers as we help her through this tough time.

When I say I need a mountain, Doug does not disappoint! Sunday morning found us at Westfork Trail in Sedona for a beautiful walk. We've had a lot of rain over the past month, and there were so many wildflowers along this trail. I will share those photos later this week.

And with that, I'm off to tackle the week ahead.
Wishing you all a week full of blessings.
