Team Teal Tuesday

{Three of my dear friends from England took this picture this past weekend. Karen, Deb,
 and Denise ~ this gesture was so timely and meant so much to us this past weekend!}

Can you believe it's already been three weeks, and today it's time for another round of chemo for my mom? The weeks just keep coming at us full speed ahead, don't they?

It's difficult to say what is worse - cancer or chemotherapy. And maybe at this point it's a mixture of both. The love and support of our friends has touched us so deeply, and this morning I am at a loss for words. I've typed words for this post, erased them, started over, and typed them again. My thoughts are scattered and my heart is an upside down jumble of sorrow, gratitude, angst, and joy.

Super big hugs to my mom {Marti} today as she receives another round of chemo.
And super big hugs to each of you who keep her in your thoughts
and prayers today and in the weeks to follow.

It's been a few months since the 3 of us have been together at a crop, and I'm so pleased that Karen's idea to photograph us wearing our wristbands was well timed. It is horrible that the treatment is almost as bad as the disease itself but do hope that once your mum's body has had time to process it, she may feel some improvement. It sounds as if you had a good weekend and I know that having you and Carrie there would have meant so much to her.
Keep strong and know that although we are far away, our thoughts are with you xxx

What a great photo and after reading Deb's comment I love that it was one of those special blessings, timed perfectly. Lifting Marti up today and praying for your peace. {{hugs}}

My heart is with you, dear friend. As hard as it is to see your mom struggle, I know your presence is really important to her (and to you). Remember to take care of yourself - have you been able to do any yoga lately? I'm definitely feeling the need to find a new class (since they stopped offering it at my gym a few months ago).
Hugs,
Rinda

You're right about it being hard to judge which is worse, the disease or the treatment! Your mom is such a beautiful woman I keep her and all who suffer through this dreadful disease in my thoughts and prayers! (And all those who love them also).

Prayers for you and your Mom. It is a beautiful post that although you feel jumbled your love shows everything connected just where it is suppose to be.

Thank you, darling daughter, for keeping the hope alive and the prayers coming. I know all of these dear ladies don't need reminders but seeing their comments in black and white, I'm so reassured and feel very blessed and special. My love to all of you! xoxo

thinking of you, your family and Marti. I hated the effect chemo had on my dad and ultimately it had such serious side effects he had to stop. He is due an appt with his Oncologist this week so keeping positive, hoping that it will be good news. Keeping positive for you guys too xxx

I know your Mom is going through a lot, may this help her:
Blessed are you,
Compassionate one,
For giving me
these droplets of this Chemotherapy drug,
Like refreshing dew
and healing rain,
may it save me life.

She is being taken care of and will be healed....
