Photos for Rinda

I was counting on adding a few more photos to check off the list for Rinda's Photography Scavenger Hunt while Carrie and I were in California last week. Thanks to my sweet step-dad {Rod}, I have a few to share with you today.

My parents live in the middle of California's San Joaquin Valley ~ an agricultural utopia. I knew it would be fairly easy to find a roadside-stand-selling-something {item #4}. When we stopped so I could take a photo I asked the roadside-stand-selling-something-guy if he'd mind if I took a photo. I didn't realize until I got home and uploaded my pictures that he was actually posing for the shot. Haha - makes me love the photo even more!

I didn't feel right asking for the favor without purchasing something, so we bought some little tomatoes and these strawberries. {Carrie said they tasted like candy.}

Of course they were yummy ~ they were grown right here, behind his roadside-stand-selling-something, and were probably picked that morning.

After that we drove into town because Rod knew where to find a fountain {item #9}. This one is in front of the cancer treatment center where my mom first started treatments over a year ago:

And then an outdoor stairway {item #19}...

From where I stood, I could see this stairway and four others. Yes, I took photos of all of them, but this shot was my favorite.  :o)

And with that I have found 13 of the prompts and have eight to go.

The remaining eight will take some creativity on my part.
