First - for those of you who are new to my blog, I want to tell you that I have this group of family and friends {many of them I know through my blog} who wear a teal cancer-awareness bracelet in honor of my mom {Marti} who is fighting ovarian cancer.
Thing two - My mom receives chemotherapy treatments every three weeks, on a Tuesday, and today is one of her treatment days. She could sure use some extra hug-vibes in her direction if you are so inclined!
And speaking of teal,
I have two of these "Fight Like a Girl" koozies up for grabs.

Lots of love and best wishes going to your Mum today, Deb. My nephew's sister in law has just recently been diagnosed with cancer too. She's in her late 20's with three little children. The sooner a cure is found for this disease the better. Stay strong Marti! xx

I like that! Team Teal Tuesday! I had my 7 hour treatment today and feeling just a little rummy from all the meds that were pumped in me today. The up-side is: I always meet someone new and encouraging to talk to. Today's angel was Beverly. She's in remission from leukemia and what a wonderful spirit she has! She only comes in occasionally now for Reclast infusions which is for osteoporsis (spelling???) (weak bones!) Loved her and she has added me to her prayer list--my list of prayer warriors just keeps growing. My news today wasn't the best but I'll just have to set my thoughts to "next" time and hopefully my numbers will improve! Love to all of you out there who see this post and especially, love to you, my darling daughter!!! xoxo
