Fancy Jane was unimpressed with the whole process. She's old that way. She decided to take advantage of the fact that The King had left his quilt out. Whiskers, on the other hand...
I probably could have taken all the boxes out of the way before I took the final photo, but oh well... You get the idea.
It's Christmas at our house now.

Lovely tree, well done Doug! It's not quite Christmas here yet, but we are getting there. DS keeps reminding me that, "It's not Christmas yet, Mummy" and who am I to argue?!
Gorgeous tree...and Doug was quite right to want one......christmas has to have a tree!
We'll be doing all our decorating this weekend.
Sometimes The King of teh Castle knows what's right!
No decorations us here yet ... when school finishes.
I love the peeks you give of your life and your tree is lovely :) I'm glad Doug said you had to have one! I had been going to stick it out to the 13th before putting the tree up but have agreed we'll do it this weekend instead :) I'm going into town this morning to get my last little presents and then (hopefully) I'm about done. xx
looks lovely and so festive - I'm planning to decorate this weekend
Gorgeous! It's a pleasure seeing your posts pop up regularly again :)
I'm glad Doug insisted. It looks beautiful. I love the photo of Whiskers - fun little troublemaker!
What a festive space you're creating. We're waiting another week to get our tree - I need to get through some work stuff and the kids through the last week of the term before I can feel festive.

Our tree may be going up this weekend--artifical, pre-lit but stunning all dressed up! I'm hoping Rod will take care of decorating it again this year. He keeps it simple with few baubles and it looks amazing! Your's, of course, is a work of art.....love the tree skirt! Love you! xo
Your tree looks lovely. Christmas hasn't arrived yet but it is coming on the train from Newcastle next Saturday and then the decorations will go up and the jolly season will be entering our house.
Glad you listened to Doug...the tree looks fab!I think we are officially decorated and ready for Santa
