One thing that I love and admire about some people is the ability to be grateful in times of strife. It impresses me so much that it makes me want to be that way.
Feeling grateful all the time? Well, I'm far from it. I post a big brave turtle face on this here blog. But with lots of practice I think I am pretty good at counting my blessings.
Because, really, when you start counting your
blessings how can you be that sad about anything?
An attitude of gratitude for November:
* I am so grateful for my mom.
* I am so very grateful for Team Teal.
* I am thankful for my well lit kitchen and...
* I think it's cool to own a gumball machine.

Cute roosters :) and wonderful gratitudes.Thought I requested a bracelet recently but maybe I forgot to email you. Regardless Marti stays on my prayer list as do you.
What a great thing to do - I think I"ll follow along, as I could use a mental readjustment to focus on the good. Thanks!

Funny, I also decided to focus on gratitude for this month! It always makes life feel better to stop and think about what you are feeling grateful for.
A lovely way to start [or end] the month,Deb.
Deb: I am grateful that you have your mom and thank you for letting me be part of your Teal Team.
it is a wonderful idea to list your gratitudes on your blog. i too try to focus on what i am grateful for...even in the hard times. it is a much better way to live.
A gumball machine always puts a smile on my face!

You are such a positive person Deb so I expect to see many things that you are thankful for over the next few weeks but like you said we know whats important don't we xx
What a lovely idea, I should think about doing something similar makes you feel grateful for the blessings that you already have x
You're right Deb..we should all remember tocount our blessings!

Earlier today I saw someone post a gratitude journal and it reminded me of my gratitude project a year or so ago. I thought it would be good to start again. So I'll follow along as well. Might be good if I finally got a post up this week!!!
A wonderful thought, Deb.
I loved that beautiful photo of the cornucopias, below. Good luck with all of yours for Thanksgiving. They were very fun to do. : )
What a great idea, focusing on what we are grateful helps us to see the wonderful things/people we do have around us. xx
Gotta love that gumball machine! You are right - it is cool.
I'm grateful for my blog friends - all of them, but especially the Best Ones (like Deb and some others...).
I'm grateful for my health and that we have enough (more than enough) of what we need.
I'm reviewing the year too - today is my "Blogiversary" and I'm updating last year's Blog Party post to put in the direct links to each person's post... I am off to search for yours now! XXX
We have so much to be thankful for. I found your blog through tainted with a positive view. Enjoyed your thoughts and photos. Will be checking in regularly.
I'm sure there's a limit on how long comments can be--such a shame since my blessings would go on forever! Since you're doing this everyday, I'll post just a couple everyday!
1. My husband--my strength when I'm weak.
2. My children--supportive, loving, amazing adults.
3. My grandchildren--everyone a pure joy and blessing to me.
4. God--for bringing me through this far.
To be continued.........xoxo
I love it deb! what a great post! I actually made it to church Sunday, and the priest said something that really stuck - he said, even the poorest person here is rich, especially compared with the the rest of the world, and if you can't see that, you need to look around you and really appreciate all we have. Me, I'm grateful to have you among the friends I am so lucky to have.
Also doing gratitude posts for November and a journal as well.
A very touching and thought provoking post Deb - and I love your rooster!
