Confession: When I saw this quote I thought of someone who was guilty and posted it in judgement of that certain someone. However, after I thought about it, I realize that I'm just as guilty of this very same thing myself.
Isn't that the way it is? When I point a finger at someone, three are pointing back at me.
great quote! And can I assume from the photo that it makes you the oldest of four? Although I wasn't technically first-born, I grew up as the oldest of seven! (and definitely took on the role of first-born)
Deb - a great quote and adorable photograph! Look at how stinkin' cute you were! And I appreciate the confession too - sometimes, we need to open our hearts to find the lesson. xoxo
great quote and your confession reminded me of earlier this year when I came back from a visit with my aunts and my sister asked me how they are and I had to say 'I can't really tell you without being hypocritical because I spent the visit thinking how judgemental they are and all my stories of the visit would feel judgemental too'. A good reminder to look to ourselves 1st

It's such a great quote,Deb....I'm sure we're all guilty of it sometimes.

A good reminder Deb!

LOVE this. That is one of the lines of the book that stuck with me too, and I think I even highlighted it on my Kindle. Love you, mom-friend.
PS: one of my favorite pictures of all time! :)
It's a great quotation - and I can relate to what you say about it, too. (I recognise that lovely smile!) xx
..and a good one at that
I was thinking how I need to learn this lesson myself (before I saw your confession).
