It's hot in Arizona right now.
Yesterday our temp reached 112°
(that's 44 C to some of you...)

But during the summer months my goal is to use the oven as little as possible to avoid heating up the house. So when I saw an idea for car-baked-s'mores here, I was on it!
Hard to tell by this photo, but yes, these are sitting in the front seat of my car.
Fast forward about an hour and...

We are at 40degrees by the back door today, Deb..if it weren't for WW I might be tempted to try your idea ;)

I think I'm off to the store for some makings! We aren't at a hundred and hot degrees yet today but the inside of my van is always toasty--I melt more lip balms than I care to admit! Fab idea, Sweetie! Hope you're having a great weekend! xoxo
That is too funny!

Um, we are at 20, so not really warm at all by your standards!
I can remember learning how to make s'mores when I went camping in New Hampshire during an exchange trip - though we did need a campfire!
We were forecast 30 degrees today, but there is a lovely breeze so just right here.
Those s'mores look delicious:) What are the biscuits you use?
Angelfish ~ The "biscuits" I used are called graham crackers here in the US. I think they are the equivalent of a disgestive biscuit in the UK. :o)
Omg that is awesome. I love it! Haha
What a great idea,Deb....though I can't imagine it ever being hot enough here for that.....mind you, we have reached nearly 30 today.
you even make s'mores creatively! come visit NY Deb - just 80 and sunny here today with no humidity ...
LOL!!!!
Oh my goodness - YUMMY! They look gorgeous and after discovering they are digestive based I want them either more! :)
Amazing! I thought it was hot here - at 30 degrees, with 32 threatened for tomorrow...
Car Baking - hilarious!
I always wondered what Graham crackers were so thanks for saying tey are digestives! I hve always wanted to make smores I see them as a real American outdoor sweet treat. So, I need to get my digestives, chocolate and marshmallows together! Thanks Deb xxx
It's been stupidly hot here today too and I always wondered what Graham biscuits were too - yum :-)
Those look delicious Deb. It is due to be 30 degrees tomorrow - very hot for us.
That is hilarious!
I don't envy you that weather ... but, on the upside it always makes 35C feel like a 'cool change'! We have been known to try a little car cooking too, and I so relate to what your Mum said, I have left lipgloss in the car one too many times and the results are less than pleasing!
Very funny! We'll wait for the heat wave and give it a try ;)
xo
I had a friend who used to put his food in foil and sit it in his dash - by lunch time, it was hot and ready to go. Like his own little slow cooker.
I love this! I will do this and report back.
