♥s and rocks and candy.

Once in a while the sweetest thing will happen.
.

Like when a friend sends a little surprise just for the fun of it.

And when said friend is a kindred spirit
whom I have never met in person...

...and she lives on the other side of the planet but still knows
me well enough to know that a heart-shaped rock she
found would surely melt my own heart.

Thank you, Mel, for the awesome surprise package you sent me.
I'm touched beyond words by your kind and thoughtful gesture.

{And I'm spoiled forever by Jelly Babies.
Those things are dangerously delicious!!!}

Strangely, the lovely Mel and I were sat this very evening talking about how amazing it is to have 'friends' around the world made through blogging. Glad to know that you like the Jelly Babies, don't they smell delicious? x

Gifts like that take the blog out of blog friends ~ Mel is indeed a good woman.

I don't really have time for my big blog catch up yet - I've set aside the weekend for that! - but I saw the title of your post and realised what it must be :-) It was such a pleasure to put together that little package for you Deb, I'm so pleased that you like it. Unfortunately it appears that Carrie has now found out about the jelly babies.... ;-)

I'm honoured to be counted one of your blog friends. I'm thrilled that you're one of mine xx
