I like both those little books... on balance, I think I'd choose the round heart, just because I would be able to write on the lines above it (which somehow seems "just right" to me...).
The design is lovely though, with the lines and scribbly brackets.

These are both lovely, but my fave is the tall heart.
Maybe it's because I'm little too, but I prefer the smaller heart!
Tall heart too, though I see the point of having more space for writing - if you want to write! It might spoil a beautiful cover.
