Thrift store find.

Did you notice this table underneath the photos of my vintage doilies yesterday? Carrie and I were at Goodwill (thrift store) a couple weeks ago and it had just been donated - didn't even have a price tag on it yet. Lucky for me she's in transition between apartments, otherwise it would have been a bigger struggle on who was going to own it!

The current paint job isn't very good, and Hubby is ready and willing to refinish it for me, but I haven't decided how I want it to look. For now, I like the worn look, and it's perfect for holding some of my random craft room things.

I do like that table :) Why is it I never see anything nice like that over here in our charity shops.

It's lovely! If you like the worn look, why not go a bit further and distress it with some sanding and maybe even crackle paint/glaze?
It's a pretty little table though. I like the creamy colour - it makes it look a bit Frenchy.

I think it's perfect as it is.

It's lovely, a little bit French and a little bit vintage. So pretty. A very lucky find!

The table is great! I can't wait to see the paint job blog when it is transformed. We need to take a goodwill trip together (Carrie too) and teach me a few things. I can never get over the dirty part... LOL
I know call me a germaphobe, i deserve it.

I love older furniture - is is so much more sturdy than most of the stuff made today. Lucky that your husband will take on the project. One of my DH's famous quotes is, "There's no such thing as a LITTLE refinishing."

Super cute, I love it! I think I would probably keep it in the creamy color with the vintage look. If you repaint, do you have a color in mind?
