One last piece of Christmas.

.
Here's a quick and easy project that finally took care of that stack of Christmas cards that has been on top of my kitchen counter for the past couple of weeks ~ the last little reminder of Christmas.
.
I finally purchased a square punch and had so much fun punching these cards into little bits of cuteness and gluing them to a 12x12 piece of cardstock.

Got the idea from Ali Edwards. :o)

So, if you sent me a card you may see it here...except for the handmade cards (Mom, Mel, and Cate). I didn't have the heart to cut those apart! And, Jacie ~ Joe was too far away from you and Jordan so he got punched out of the picture :o( sorry!
.
I love the mixture of colors and textures...makes me want to make a quilt!

Oh, I love this! I saw Ali's version too - it works just as well with non-photo cards, clearly :-) If I didn't recycle mine into gift tags I would totally do this too - in fact, next year, I may just have to do this anyway and make or buy the next batch of gift tags!

Great idea! Square punch, huh? Have I ever seen one of those?? An environmentally friendly work of art! Beautiful! xo

Yours is the 2nd one I've seen ~ I recycled our Christmas cards today, but I might have to borrow this idea for next year. It looks fab!

That is super-cool! I was wondering what I'd do with most of our cards. I ear-marked a couple of extra-special ones to save, but the rest are just sitting looking at me.
Your version is lovely. I think I have inspiration for (yet) another project!
Thanks!

it looks great! I'm going to sandwich mine between chipboard, and bind with some jump rings to sit on my self... might even do the same with last years!
