It was a typical end to my afternoon of Christmas shopping. I came home and announced "No one come in my craft room and NO LOOKING IN BAGS!!!"
That should have done it, right?
Well, my dear fuzzy friend Whiskers Jay must not have heard me because he followed me straight into the room and immediately began nosing around in the bags. I shoo'd him away several times and didn't think to take a picture because at that point he wasn't being cute - in fact he was being downright annoying. He kept going back to the same bag and then I realized that his catnip toy that was supposed to go in his Christmas stocking was in the bag he was rooting in. "J-Cat! You'll spoil Christmas!!! GO AWAY!!!!!!"
I finally got tired of shooing him away, put the catnip toy up on a high shelf, and went about my business. I had packages to wrap and things to do. A little while later I walked past my craft room and here's what I saw:
Determined.
Relentless.
Successful.
>^..^<
Merry Christmas J-Cat.

~sigh~ All these posts about my CAT! Can you imagine what I'll be like when I finally have a grandchild?!?! ;o)
lol!! Keep the cat posts (and pics) coming, they're brilliant :-)
Oh. My. God. I was going to come in here and post something about your cute cat until I saw your comment about grandchildren and now I am at a loss for words.
FYI in case you don't know... "AnInspiredPeace" is my daughter, Carrie. She's 21 and no where near giving me a grandchild but I do look forward to the day. :o)
lol! Very cute photos. Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog :)
Good thing children aren't as persistant as the cat....well not usually!!
HAHA! Oh my goodness this story has totally made my afternoon! :)) Hilarious!
I've never seen cats like your's! But then, they are special--just like my kids, grands, grand cats, grand dogs, etc.............Cute to the max! xo
I love when you tell stories about him! I am always like, "YES! My cat does the SAME thing!" <3
that is hilarious. we got a new cat for in the shop. roger and karlie brought him home from one of the farms. he was cold and skinny. now he is plump and happy. when anyone goes in the shop he comes right up to them and jumps on your shoulders and lays around your neck. he just can't get close enough to you. he's so sweet.
hahahaha... "anonymous" comment above is my hubby. He's the one in our house who calls Whiskers "Rotten."
LOL! That's so funny....I know he probably isn't the one who stacked the boxes, but in my head, I imagined that he did.
