The first Sunday of each month is Storytelling Sunday over on my friend Sian's blog, From High in the Sky, and the idea is to tell a story about something that is precious to you. Today, I give you knick-knacks from my sweet mother-in-law.
PJ was a collector. She collected bears and angels and giraffes and eagles and trinkets and a few bicycles. She's been gone for almost four years now, but her collection just keeps giving.
I recently acquired these cute little bikes and when I took this photo I deliberately got her five sweet babies in the background, a photo of my mom with her four children, and an angel in the middle that also once belonged to PJ. A whole lot of precious in one little shot.
Our home is filled with little things that remind us of those we've loved and will always keep close at heart. I'm so grateful that PJ was a collector, and that her collection was large enough to share with so many people who loved her.
PS: Thanks for these cute little geese too, PJ. ♥
