Random Things on Thursday...

Hi friends!
We're just about to make it through another week.
I don't know about you, but it's been a busy one for me.
I have been able to make a little time for taking pictures, so
today I'm sharing some random shots I like.

Rexy's getting big! I have been saying I'm going to measure him for four months now! {Maybe this weekend...}

This is one of the trees in our backyard that we weren't sure we could save {it went without water for a year}. Slowly but surely she's coming back. And you've just gotta' love that blue Arizona sky!!!

Some night photography...

Same evening, a black widow spider on our patio {yikes}... I know this will creep a few of you out, but don't you think this would be a great Halloween card? :o}

A bride for Rinda's Summer Photography Scavenger Hunt {item #16}. {Seriously? For a wedding cake?} I'm using this photo because I'm pretty sure I won't be seeing another bride between now and the end of the photography challenge.

I'm so excited that tomorrow is Friday!
And it's a 3-day weekend for us here in the US. {Kind of like a British Bank Holiday, I suppose.}
My plan is to do some sewing this weekend, unless I'm distracted by something else.
You just never know with me.
I'm random, like a blog post.
:o)

Happy, happy weekend to you! We love Bank Holiday weekends :) (Not that The Doctor usually gets to take the Bank Holiday Monday off, though.... But as Monday is one of my working days, having that day off works for me, for sure!)

Hahahaha...laughing at the reluctant bride...that's so funny...I'm having trouble finding a bride as well...we were invited to our neighbours wedding last weekend but couldn't go as we were away in Edinburgh for the Tattoo...all good things seem to come at once...maybe I will just have to go stalk some churches!!

Have a fun weekend:0)

fabulous blue sky. and a totally beginners question - in which direction do turtles get bigger? head to tail? side to side? height? all of these. I can just imagine the lines on the side of the door to show his growth !

Awesome cake topper! So funny. I do think you've found a fantastic Halloween card. It never occurred to me that Rex would grow. My post today is also a few random bits - I guess it's just that kind of a day.

Enjoy! And please, do NOT send me that Halloween card!

Oh I would be so scared to receive that card. Great blue sky. Have a wonderful holiday.

that bride made me laugh, of course we would all say it's the woman who drags the man kicking and screaming to the alter but I love the fat this is the other way around. that spider is minute, is it really scarey?
hope all goes well for this weekend,
jo xxxx

I'd no idea that turtles (tortoises?) ate eggs - my new learning for today! Love your bridal find!

Random is the best way to be!

We cultivate similar wildlife down here - your black widow looks a lot like our red back spider.
Yes, that cake topper is a tad unusual!
