While I was working on this little turtle, a childhood melody kept coming to mind...
I had a little turtle,
I named him Tiny Tim.
He drank up all the water,
He ate a bar of soap,
And then I added:
I made this little turtle,
And now she needs a home.

Cute! I've been on the lookout for a cute little pattern for a while now - I thought I could make you a new turtle for your collection. But you have beaten me to it :)
so love this turtle and the cute rhyme. i just got a book to knit birds and insects,
jo xxx
That rhyme was a jump rope game when I was a kid - but it started off "Miss Suzie had a baby, she named him Tiny Tim, she put him in the bathtub, to see if he could swim..." and he tried to eat the bathtub... and Miss Suzie called the doctor... Can't believe how easily that came back to me - haven't heard it in years!
Lovely turtle Deb ... if I was to win him, I think I'd send him off to Australia to look for another Tiny Tim - my geocaching travel bug that went missing around a year ago!
This is so cute,Deb.....learning to crochet is definately on my 'to do' list.
I love that little Turtle,
I think he is so sweet.
If I should win him for a prize
Well, that would be so neat!
I love that little Turtle,
I like him oh so much,
I "Liked" him with my Facebook page

He is a very nice little turtle - I love his flower and his paws... awwww...
Whiskers seems quite interested too!
I have a feeling Lizzie would really like to win your turtle ;o). He turned out so cute, well done! I imagine you could guess where he'd go if I won him ;o) xx
you are on such a role with these, Deb! I want to put in an order for a Charlie Brown doll! :) Or a robot! THAT would be cool!

Rinda (who never crochets)
I've not heard that rhyme before but I can see why it sprang to mind!
Such a cute turtle really needs to go on an adventure holiday over the seas to England ;-)
Is that really the Dradle song?
I remember that song!!! Liking you on Facebook was easy---I already like you a lot! Since I'm highly unlikely to learn how to crochet, I'd certainly love to be the winner!
What a gorgeous turtle and I love the rhyme, I'd never heard it before!
This turned out so cute! Little Tiny Tim Turtle--gotta love that guy! Don't send him away till after I see him next week!!! Love you! xo

What a precious little turtle. A friend of mine has decorated her son's room with little turtle and if my name gets picked thats who I will give it to.
