Ok, ok, so not everybody, but lately I've been intrigued by the pretty finishes on photos here and there. I came across a link to this website, signed up for the e-newsletter, and got myself some free textures. After watching the {free} video lesson, I was off and running {it's super easy}. I can see how this could be addictive, and I think it may even change the way I approach photography at times.
How about you?
Have you dabbled with textures?
Any related websites you'd care to share?

yeah, not everybody... just the really cool kids! Love what you've done. Which texture(s) did you use?
Oh yeah, I guess I should keep track of which texture I've used. :o) Learning curve...
This one is Kim Klassin's "music lovin."
Very pretty! I did try giving textures a go, but wasn't happy with anything I produced, to be honest; but I'm always ready to admire a success!
Kim is the best! She also runs a skinnni mini class (free) every now and again which is great. there's one other free site that I really like - will find it for you.

I'm back - Shadowhouse Creations has some lovely free textures:

Also, Pioneer Woman has some "actions", which seem to be a preset combination of fixes and textures that many people like:

Playing with all these is on my never-ending list of things to do!

I'm one of the uncool kids..no textures her, but like what you've done

I like what you've done, but I've not got the patience to do it myself!
See what you are doing with all this time on your hands! Next you'll be a PSE wizard!
Don't know exactly what it is but it sure is pretty! Such talent! Has it started ozzing out of your pours yet??? Love you! xo
I love Kim's textures, and dabbled is all I've ever done. I've been on her texture mailing list for well over a year, and have more textures than I will ever use. I'm struggling to find a way to organize them, so the process doesn't take me so long! As soon as LOAD is over, playing with these is on the list!
I've dabbled a bit with Kim Klassen's textures. Your photo looks great.
This looks very nice, Deb. I had a go with textures, quite a long time ago (following instructions from the fab Helena - http://helenascreativemaven.blogspot.com/), but I didn't really get very good results. I also have a scrapbooking application on the pc, which has some textures in it - me & DS had some success when playing with this, but I haven't really done anything recently.
I like your subject and the Helen Keller quote to go with it. A very nice picture - why not print it out and put it on the wall, it's very pretty!
that is beautiful. it is pretty easy isn't it. and she sends some amazing textures. i think i love all of them.
When I took Kim's free Skinny Mini class I did get slightly obsessed with giving every photo a texture. You should be pleased with the result on your photo it looks great.
Oh, no. You're speaking artsy. No hablo.
gorgeous deb! love the photo and quote!
I need to try them again. That one looks really nice.
