Gobble It Up - Turkey Wine Gift Bag {and cards}

At our recent get together, my SIL Laurie re-gifted this wine gift bag to me - one that I had made and given to her a few years ago. I was happy to see this turkey again - I remember making him and smiling about his little heart shaped feet.

He's pretty simple, really. Just two circles (mine are 5-1/2" and 3-1/2"), two hearts for the feet, 1/2 of a heart for his red-hanging-down-thingy wattle {ew}, an orange triangle for his beak, and five teardrop shaped pieces for his tail feathers (mine are 7" long).

Oh yeah. And two googly eyes!

I used pop-dots to adhere the body, feet, and head to the front of the wine bag, and craft glue to stick the feathers to the back of the bag.

I had some scraps left on my work table and decided to whip up a few cards while I was at it. I made this turkey guy on a smaller scale and put him on three card fronts.

 {stamped the insides of the cards with "Happy Thanksgiving"}

Thanksgiving is just around the corner!
I can't wait to share these little turkey guys with my friends and family.

November Attitude of Gratitude:
* I am grateful for the means to craft on a Sunday afternoon - I just love my craft space and all my supplies. I made these turkey goodies using supplies I had on hand. {See? It's a good thing I save all that stuff!}

Adorable turkeys--and yes, it's good to save that stuff! Thanks to you, I cleaned my closet today. Didn't have time to purge, but I can now get to everything again. Thanks for the motivation!
