2 - Looking out my kitchen window and seeing this sweet palm tree.
3 - Looking out my kitchen window and seeing activity {I'm going to be the nosey neighborhood lady who knows everything that's happening! My former kitchen window looked out onto a sickly rose bush and a brick wall. Once in a while I'd see a lizard...}
4 - We can see the sky from our back door and get to enjoy Arizona sunsets without even going outside.
5 - The potential of our backyard space {It's the first thing I fell in love with when I saw the photo on the real estate listing - before we even looked at the house.}
6 - These pull out cabinet thingies. I always wanted these.
7 - Great light in every room - especially the kitchen. This house is going to be awesome for photography!
8 - The house has an atrium. I squealed the first time I saw it! {More on that in later posts...}
9 - And the atrium has a CAT DOOR!!! {Fancy has kind of figured out the little door, but Whiskers wants nothing to do with it so far.}

it looks like a place in heaven, great list, you 'sound' so happy with it.
Your new home looks light and airy and your backyard looks huge! I am glad you found somewhere that you love:)
I'm jealous that you get to see the sunset from your window. We live on the side of the mountain which blocks our sunsets. We get sunrises but I'm generally not home to see them. :)
I can see just why you love it,Deb.
What a lovely home! What a great idea to list what a blessing it is to you!
Oh Deb thanks for sharing your lovely new home! We can 'hear' how excited you are :) Those sunsets are going to be amazing too xx
DEb the house looks fantastic - I applauded each new item
Your house sounds fantastic and I love No. 1 on your list - closer to Carrie has to be a good thing :) xx
It sounds like you are settling into your new home in fine fashion - I hope you like it so much that you could do several more 10 items post.
Deb, I LOVE the new digs! I can't wait to visit once you are all settled in :)
So glad you have settled in so well and love your new home so much xxx
Wonderful. :)
sounds like pretty good reasons to me! Enjoy my friend! Hope you have many happy years there!!
Lots to love here, Deb! I'm so envious of the light!
Nothing like seeing our men hard at work is there! ;-) We could do with Doug over here at the moment, our momentum is slowing considerably - though, he'll appreciate the break by the time he's finished there no doubt!
I am wondering what your plans are for the back yard - we need to start thinking gardens here too!
Wow! What a beautiful sunset:) A great list of things to be thankful for in your new home.
Home is where the heart is. Congratulations to you and your BIG heart.
Beautiful house and to see that sunset...fantastic.
Health and happiness in your new home!!
LOL at number 1...though I must admit, I like that fact too.
Glad that you are happy there!
LOL at #3 - looks brilliant!
Beautiful!!! I see why you love it~I would too!!
Great collection of ten things - sounds like you chose your new home wisely. I have a kitchen at the front of the house and love the fact that I can see what's going on while I am cooking!
The pictures of your home are lovely. I can see why you fell in love with it. Enjoy making it yours.
Love the trees in the backyard - I agree tons of potential there. And a lovely sunset picture, too!

But are you closer to me??? Oh, well, 12 hours in a car or 2 hours in an airplane--I can handle that! All that aside, I love your new place and I'm so anxious to see it and you! Feel better, my darling daughter! xoxo
What a beautiful house; I would certainly squeal at an atrium and all the other lovely touches! Best of luck settling in.
I envy you those sunsets! Looking forward to seeing your outdoor space develop!
It looks and sounds lovely Deb, and it also looks like it is keeping Doug busy.So glad you are settling in well xx
