When I read item #7 on Rinda's list for the Photography Scavenger Hunt I had visions of finding a sweet little mailbox in a rural area, painted and decked out with a beautiful backdrop of a country setting. Well...since I live in the city that wasn't going to happen any time soon, so I had to improvise. ;o)
And an extra view:
The mailboxes in our neighborhood are placed here and there, and the photo above shows the one that's just around the corner from our house. Sweet little mailbox #3 - you won't be our mailbox for much longer...but that's ok. ♥
PS: Still no word on our housing situation, but we will be moving within the next couple of weeks. Game on!!!

Deb that is so adorable, and so you
Wonder what the mail person thought when he delivered your mail that day. Probably thought he'd missed his own birthday! Too clever and cute! xoxo
Love it! I have the perfect decorated mailbox to show you when you come visit . . .

Such a clever idea,Deb....so cute.
I'm sure that put a smile on the postman.

Love it xxx
That must have surprised the post man! I love seeing how different things are in different places in the world. I have never seen a group of postboxes away from the house in a housing development, here we all have a 'letter box' hole in our front doors for the postman to put the mail through. It means you fall over your post when you open the door though!
What Deb said! Yes, we wait here every morning for the sound of the post plopping through the letterbox into the hall
I remember when getting the mail was full of possibilities: letters, etc. Now I sort of dread it: bills, annoying circulars. But I did get a book recently! THat was cool.
