My weekend in photos...

The novelty of moving and packing and living with packaging material is wearing off...but we're getting there...
Weekend #2 of grand-pet sitting. Kirby and Whiskers started building a friendship. They played well together...for a while...
Saturday we celebrated the news about our "new" house! After a busy day we ordered a pizza for dinner...
And watched some sixth-grade-boy humor...
with Carrie's pets close by, and our cats hiding somewhere.
New favorite breakfast: peaches, bananas, blueberries, Greek yogurt, and granola. YUM!!!
The backyard heart rocks got packed up. I'm sure the movers {Doug, et al} will be impressed when they are asked to move a bucket of rocks!
I've made great progress clearing out the freezer before our move - cooked the last pork tenderloin in the crock pot for dinner last night. {It was really yummy! I seasoned it with cumin, a can of diced green chilies, and a can of yellow hominy. Served with beans and tortillas...yum!}
Marcus waited by the front door for Carrie to arrive...
and we snacked on cookies baked from the dough Carrie left behind...
Enjoyed a pretty Arizona sunset last night... {looking out our front door...}
and a view of our backyard at the same time...everything had a rosy hue to it.
And speaking of rosy, so is our outlook for the upcoming week.
:o)
Here's wishing us all a fabulous week ahead!

your breakfast looks delicious.

Marcus is sooooo cute

Your cooking continues to delight with 'new' ingredients - we don't get canned chillies or hominy. I love seeing all these food differences

Pretty pictures of your weekend!

Thanks again for watching my pets...I am working from home today so that I can enjoy their company (and so that they don't think I'm leaving again!)

With all you accomplished, I still wish you'd been here with us at Grandma's 91st birthday bash! You were missed by all! Green chilis and hominy, huh? Now that I might have to try!!! Love you and the pics are great, too! xo

Love the pix of Carrie's cat and dog together. When I moved to California from upstate New York (the move paid for by a big law firm), we moved cinder blocks for cinderblock bookcases!

Oh man, I have just sent you an e-mail and completely had forgotten you lived in Arizona! I have literally driven across the entire state very recently. I could have popped in to say hi. Hope you are well x
