Anatomy of a salad {at our house}

As our weather starts heating up in Arizona, I start making more salads for dinner...

Romaine lettuce is my favorite {er...mostly for the color of the lettuce...is that wrong?}

And I love using Roma tomatoes ever since I used this recipe from Karen's blog a while back...

Feta cheese and balsamic salad dressing...

Croutons made stove-top so I don't have to heat up my oven...

Yummmmmmmmm....

Oh wait...add the croutons...

Outdoor dining at its best...

Looks delicious!!! Actually the greener the lettuce the healthier because of the chlorophyll.
Loooove that birthday puzzle idea. What a sweet girl you have.
Giveaway over at my place. : )

Okay, now I'm craving a salad! We've been eating salad a lot over the past few months--I like using the spinach, romaine, green leaf blend--loaded with antioxidants! Grocery shopping tomorrow--guess I need to stock up! Great pictures, by the way! Can't wait to have a little snack in your patio! xo

Cute post, but not my favorite ingredients in the salad. Might have to make my own anatomy of a salad post! :)
