Where I've been lately...

Hello blog friends!

Carrie and I spent the past couple of days attending the Creative Estates blogging event. We were so fortunate to have this event only a few miles from our houses, in the old downtown Chandler area...

The event provided lots of great blogging information delivered by key note speakers, as well as networking with other bloggers from around the valley, and across the nation.

We made some new friends and soaked in a bunch of inspiration. These framed pieces of artificial grass were really cool, and highly photographed this weekend!

Of course, since I've given up sugar for a while, the center of every table had little flower pots filled with jelly beans. {I was tempted, but I was strong!!!}:o) My girl C ~ I love this picture of her. It was super windy this past weekend and even rained on Saturday!

A little project I put together from a kit that was provided in one of the break-out sessions: All that, and some new blogging friends!

Now that's a tough weekend to beat.

Lucky you! Sounds like lots of fun, and like the other Karen I envy the fact that Carrie seems to enjoy crafting as much as you do---also the fact that she lives so close by! I also agree that it's a great photo!

It was great meeting you and Carrie. I had a blast with the both of you. I loved your paper house. Looked so much better than mine! Your pictures turned out so great. I don't know why I did not think about taking a picture of the Chandler area. I was probably cold!

Aww! Another great day with my granddaughter doing something you both love! Wish I had been there--I could have eaten your share of sugar! And you just whipped up that little project....amazing! Love the pictures--especially the two of my AZ girls!!!
