On my craft table...

Lots of punched flowers for our niece's wedding...

Big punch, little punch, some pinched, some flat, then layered and glued with a rhinestone center. Easy!
More wedding-ish flowers. These were larger and I used various sizes of circles, cut with decorative scissors, scrunched them, layered and glued with a rhinestone brad in the center.
And when I should have been doing something else, I was playing around with an idea I have for a new blog banner... Not quite there...I have a few more ideas...
What's on your craft table {or on your writing pad, or in your camera...} right now?

;o)

beautiful flowers

I've had my beading stuff out - not done any since 2008. When I was shopping with my sister she was looking at some summer necklaces and I said - I could make you one of them - so I got out the stash

I'm really liking the big fluffy flowers, but, can't wait for the new header if these guys are involved!

Maybe easy, but it takes a dedicated and loving aunt to set herself to make a lot of them!

I am working on a couple of layouts at the minute

Another huge fan of the paper turtle chain! I love those big flowers! I cleaned off my desk while I watch the first half of men's finals last night so it's clean for the moment. (The game was so bad, I got to bed earlier than I expected.)

Did anyone else immediately think 'Big punch. Little punch. Cardboard box.' No? Just me?

*sigh*

It's the way my mind works.

Love these embellishments/wedding flowers/pretties though. They look stunning!

Such sweet little turtles... awww... The new blog header will be ace!

The flowers are beautiful. Maybe when you have time, you might explain a bit more about how you make the big ones?

My desk is covered in bits of book-binding, for the various orders I have on the go. My workbasket is no longer filled with socks... now I am making a bunting string, for my new baby gt. niece.

Don't you remember: You're not supposed to bring something to a wedding that might be prettier than the bride. (No offense intended to the bride, of course.) Just trying to make a point about the cuteness of it all.

loving the punched flowers - so simple and elegant with that little pop of lilac. Can't wait to see if the paper chain makes it into the new header.
