I made this with my mom.

Not a fancy set up, but very functional if I must say so myself.
My mom was in town last weekend and it seemed like the perfect excuse to have a little crafting session. The day also included my SIL {Liz}, niece {Savannah}, and My Girl C. Awesome combo. :o)
.

We made some of these cool snowflakes. They are fun and easy to make!
.
And we made garland.
~sigh~ I love garland.
.
My mom's garland was so cute ~ traditional red, green, and white.

And such a sweet surprise the morning after...
All the girls left little notes for me, written on the craft paper that I used to cover our workspace. What a sweet surprise to find these the next day. Aw!!! I loved it!!! {Thanks, girls! xo xo xo xo}
I'm so glad I made some time for crafting last weekend!
Are you finding time for craft projects?

Looks like a great project and a lot of fun - I suppose you need to get your snow from somewhere out there in Arizona! ;-) They are super cute flakes Deb :-)

I love creating with my sisters and sisters in law. We sometimes scarp together.

Awesome - both the projects and the family crafting. A little of this has been going on in our house but I feel a rush of Mum & Daughter crafting coming on next week when we both finish schoool/college.

You did a PERFECT job of documenting this day. Your pictures made me smile because they captured every detail. I'm amazed again at how good at blogging you are!!

PS: All your blog friends should know how good of a host you were, too! (She ran around and grabbed paper when we needed it, gave her advice, and then only finally whipped up a garland after we were all settled and almost done with our projects.) xoxo

The best bit for me is seeing those punches! I love the idea of the notes. (And the craft together, obviously!)

You are so lucky that your mom crafts with you. Looks like fun and as usual your photos are great showing all the things you made.

I love the projects, but mostly I'm envious of the wonderful time you had crafting with folks you love!
