SiLlY HaLoWeEn TrEaT bAg

For my nephew, Stone.
The story: When I made this bag, I did it as a practice run using an orange scrap I had in my stash. I put it in my Etsy shop and when my sister saw it she wanted 15 of them for Presley's dance class. Oh. Wow. Unfortunately, I don't have the time right now for a custom order of that size because I'm getting ready for a craft fair I've signed up for in November {sorry, Sis!}. What I did offer was another bag, the same size and not so girlie so that Presley's little brother, Stone would have one of his own too.
.
This bag was FUN to do! The bag itself is canvas, and the orange is a broadcloth that I attached with iron-on-fusible-webbing and then stitched around the edges.
.

Be spooky.

PS: I'll be putting these in the mail later this week, along with the prize package for my blog giveaway winner (see next post). You still have all day today to enter to win. :o} xo

I love this bag! I'm excited for you to blog about your carved pumpkin this year because then everyone will see that it's the exact same face as you made for this bag! :)

And I can't WAIT for you to post about the project you were working on yesterday!!! Aunt Val will totally want to order 15 of those, too! :)

How clever you are, and so imaginative. There is clearly a gap in the market for these bags! This could be your way to make your fortune ....
