Last night we decided to craft together while our show was on and it was so much fun, although in the process we forgot to really watch the dancers. We became so wrapped up on making these little pumpkins that DWTS was nothing more than background noise.
Ugh! Gotta' watch out for wild animals

Carrie found the tutorial for these cute little guys here. I changed it up a little and used bows on top instead of stems.
~sigh~
Don't you just love a good pumpkin?

They are so cute!
Now, they are seriously CUTE! I love them :-) I love that you have the quality time with carrie, I'm hoping that will be the case for me and my gal one day.
those are so cute. it's so special that you and carrie have a love of crafting that you share.
How cute! I may have to have a go at making one of these, how lucky it is my day off today and I have time to go to the craft shop ;-)
These are really cute! So lovely that you and Carrie have time together.
very cool! I sometimes wish we "did" halloween in Australia, just so I can make cute stuff!
Very, very cute indeed! Over here, pumpkins have only become popular very recently - the traditional way here is to make a turnip lantern.
Well now, these are rather gorgeous :-) And what a great excuse for some quality time with Carrie! xx
PS I've answered a couple of your questions within the comments on my blog - but yes, Billy is the name of an Ikea bookcase range, and the only biscuits I know are what you'd call cookies, never come across a bread-like version that you'd have gravy with!
these are FAB lol!!! thanks for your comment! just wanted to say, the picture of the milky way is totally stolen from the internet. My version of the picture was 100% black!!!!!!lol
What I really love is hearing about the fabulous relationship you have with your daughter! Hoping I have that when my girl is grown.

Deb they are fabulous - could even tempt me into halloween decoration next year! Love how your cat gets into everything

Absolutely amazing! And cute to the max! Monday Night Football=crafting with Carrie! Love that trade-off! xo

Oops! The Anonymous post was from me! I forgot to sign it............
I did it again! It's me--Mom!!!
Oh I do adore pumpkins. These are delightful, so fun. I have also seen some made in velvet, can't remember where though.
What a great way to spend an evening.
Catherine
oh pumpkin! you and these are too adorable! I love that you and Carrie are having your girl time!! what better way to spend a monday!
Those pumpkins are just so cute!! What a wonderful way to spend the evening with Carrie - unfortunately, neither of my girls are that bothered about crafts at the moment xx
Sooo Cuuuute... I love them! They're like the old-fashioned tomato-shaped pin-cushions we used to have when I was a kid... but so much nicer. I really like what you've done with the bows on top, to replace stems - they look like stems and leaves, but so pretty.
Lovely Pumpkin Patch - well done you!
(off to view Carrie's Patch now!)
Oh My Goodness, Deb...these are outrageously cute! Your fabric choices are adorable. Way to go!
