I got this bird cage at a local thrift shop about a year ago and it's been sitting high on a shelf in my kitchen since then...waiting for something different to happen.
Carrie's new house {that she will be moving into this coming weekend!} will be done in teal blues with yellow accents. So for her birthday Doug and I re-vamped it for her. He used paint, I used buttons...
I hung a little bird in it for the photo, but will leave it up to Carrie for further embellishing.
I just love the bright yellow color!
And she likes it too.
:o)

Love it! I think this is definitely going to be Carrie's "year"! A new home, 22 years old, and a cute little birdie in a pretty cage. Hope it is the best year yet!
Have a great week!

This is so cute! you both did a great job with it, and adding your bird in was a wonderful idea.
