Frame it!

Today I thought I'd share a photo of a little grouping I created for a narrow wall in our house. I used some cheap wooden frames, acrylic paint, rub-on's, and Prima flowers. (I went a little crazy with the rub-on's and put some right on the wall and I like it!)

The top frame holds a picture of Hubby and I -- the black around the edge is actually ribbon.

The bottom frame holds a picture of my father-in-law and mother-in-law in the early days.

The black frame on the right holds photos of my sister (Valerie) and I when we were little and still wearing matching dresses (Mom never made just one, you know...)

That's it...just a little something from around our house.
Blessings to you on this fabulous day!

I love having photos around the house and these are really cute. Great idea to use black ribbon round the edge, I wouldn't have thought of that.

Having seen it in person, I can only add that it is remarkably pretty! I'm wondering if I always made matching frocks for you and Valerie because fabric was cheaper bought in large bundles????!!!?? xo

That's a lovely idea. Now you've inspired me and given me something to thing about for my studio, where I want to have my "art wall". I was wondering about frames... I can re-vamp lots of cheap ones, have good fun doing it and save a small fortune!
Clever, yet surprisingly simple - that's a Deb hallmark, I think!
Great post, great frames. Thanks for sharing!
