I ♥ flowers.

Lately I've been dabbling in a little crochet. Learning to crochet a granny square got me hooked (pun intended) and I started looking for other tutorials on YouTube. (Did you know you can learn how to do just about anything by searching for videos on YouTube?!?!)
.
I found this tutorial and this one for making these cute little flowers. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but you can bet I'll figure out something! Got any ideas?

PS: I thought I was being very meticulous about my photo shoot here and when I uploaded the picture there was a cat hair in every one. ~sigh~ Good thing I love that little monster so much!

You could bunch them together and make a corsage type brooch. They are too nice not to be seen! YouTube is an amazing resource, you are so right .

lol at the cat hair!! Love these flowers, crochet is one of the crafts I'd like to try :-) I'd use them as embellishments on layouts and cards, little brooches and hairclips, accents on handbags, etc, etc....

Your sister is going to be so upset! teehee! I can't believe you are crocheting! I've seen these little jewels as embellishments on scrapbook pages, cards, etc. Multi-functional little works of art! Cute! xo

Wow, those look awesome! For some reason I just CANNOT master making a simple flower! I don't understand why, but I always get so frustrated and I end up throwing my yarn and hook at the wall. Perhaps I will try it again, now that you have inspired me!!
