10 things about Me ♥

This is going to be a fun weekend! My mom is coming to visit and I'm teaching a "10 things about Me" mini-book class for her, my SIL (Liz), niece (Savannah), and Carrie. I'll post pictures of the finished projects after this weekend, but in the meantime, here are my 10 things:

1) My name means Queen Bee.
2) My daughter is my best friend.
3) I love being outside with my husband – camping, picnicking in the desert, riding the quad…
4) I’m friends with my sister and two brothers. They are awesome people!
5) I’m almost 50 but I still feel 25!
6) I’d rather be in jeans and a t-shirt and barefoot.
7) I practice yoga every morning.
8) I’m a hippy-gypsy type of soul and I like it that way.
9) I love living in Arizona.
10) My mind is always creating… I can’t turn it off!

Ryne's Birthday Gift

My nephew, Ryne is turning 17 this month. This is a very special young man! Great kid, and an incredibly talented musician. These pictures were taken by someone in Europe (sorry I can't give props) while he was in the Czech Republic last year. As soon as I saw them I knew I had to do something with them. I love these pix of him!
I put the pix in a shadow box along with a Bible verse recommended by my SIL (and Ryne's mom).

The Eyes Have It

To those of you who visit my blog regularly, you may wonder why there is this foreign logo at the top of my post. It's this cool website I found (through someone else's blog that I follow) and they have contests... You enter by posting a picture on your blog and you have to use their little logo on top. Anyway! The theme is kids and "the eyes have it." I just had to use this picture of Presley taken at Thanksgiving over a year ago. She was having her first bubble bath in my big bath tub and I got some adorable pictures of her that night. Aren't these some gorgeous eyes?!?
