On bags and cats.

A bit of a repeat with pictures of gift bags, but I wanted to show you the green Grinch bag I made for my nephew, Stone. It holds a big tub of plastic farm animals. :o) He's gonna' love it. And the red bag is for his big sister, Presley, full of little-tiny-miniture dolls and animals. Little girls love miniature stuff, so I'm pretty sure she will love her gift as well.

And then there's my sweet Fancy Jane.
Fancy doesn't appear on my blog very often because she is rather camera shy. Yesterday as I was wrapping gifts she was hanging out with me, and I got sneaky with the camera. I sat the camera on top of the box I was wrapping and pressed the button. As soon as she heard the shutter click, she was out of there...but I got the shot.
Christmas is just around the corner and I'm not freaking out. In fact, today I feel quite calm about the whole affair. I do have a few gifts to finish up, but everything is under control. How about you? Are you on top of things enough to enjoy these final days before Christmas?

adorable bags and love what you put in them

I'm organised until the cooking from 23rd - being away meant I did lots before I went to Bangladesh because I hate crowded shops and rushing to get things done

Fancy Jane is so pretty! Well done on the sneak photo.

The bags are gorgeous - I bet the kids get the contents, but their Mom sneaks the bags away for her own use... I wouldn't blame her. The gifts inside sound really lovely - DS would have loved the box of animals and you're so right about mini-dolls etc. I'm sure Stone and Presley will be so happy with "Auntie Deb's" gifts - the question is, can Santa compete?

I never freak out about Christmas. I started my cards over the weekend but decided I want a letter to go in there, so I'm working on that today. We got our tree yesterday - no lights or decorations yet, but maybe this evening. I feel like I'm doing okay on the shopping; need to double check my list.
The kids still have a week of school, so it never really feels like Christmas time until they're out.

You are right about young people liking all things miniature - they are both sure to love their special gifts!

All calm here too, on the Christmas fron that is - a bit hectic on the building front!

I'm about at the freaking out stage now ;o). Still waiting for a number of presents to be delivered. The snow seems to have caused a backlog on online shopping and half my stuff hasn't arrived yet! Fortunately mine are old enough to know if it doesn't come in time they'll get it after. Let's hope it comes though!
Love the little bags and I'm sure your niece and nephew will too :)

Those bags are adorable. I probably should be freaked out but I'm not at all. I know it will all get done. Maybe because I'm so calm (and so busy), my husband started baking cookies for me yesterday. What a guy!!! How nice to have gotten such a great photo of Fancy!
