The only photo I got of my friend Deb{s14} and I whilst in England was out of focus, so I emailed her and asked if she had a better photo of the two of us together. She replied, "Can't we just call it soft focus?" So, for today's quote:
Good friends always see us in soft focus.

I'll admit it..I have been letting your posts build up a little in my reader because I wanted to treat myself to a "Deb and Carrie" travel-fest in one big glorious readathon! I have enjoyed it immensely, as I knew I would, though I'll admit it was harder than I thought it would be to see all those companionable meetings and smiling faces when I hadn't been there in person. But, as you say, I love how this universe works too and I trust that we will meet up some day, some time, somewhere x
ps - wow, didn't you see some cool stuff!
such lovely big smiles that the focus of the rest of the photo seems irrelevant
It is still a great photo - must be the subjects!
Even out of focus it is a great photo and illustrates a beautiful friendship wonderfully.
It radiates joy....which is far more important then focus.
I think it's a keeper :)
I'm at an age now where I need soft focus ;-)
Great memories of a wonderful day x
I don't think the focus matters, it's the memories it brings that count :) xx
It's perfect as it is ~ there's no doubting the happiness shining through. x
That's sweet! Love the photo - love the smiley faces.
Ha! Yes, we all need to view ourselves with soft focus ... I softened my photo for the blog yesterday ... the reality was all too harsh!
Great to see all your adventures of late Deb - sounds like a great trip was had by all.
Paul took the only picture of Jacky and me. And it is VERY soft focus. LOL!
