Hello, Monday.
Hello, friends.
♥
When I say I need a mountain, Doug doesn't mess around. Here's where we ate lunch yesterday. {I'll have more pictures of our little road trip tomorrow.}
But let's back up to Saturday morning! Santa brought hummingbird feeders for
I'll get some better shots once these little dudes are used to the feeders and don't scurry away as soon as we are near.
Doug brought some work home for the weekend. He's refinishing these window-grate-thingys for a client. One down, 59 to go...
And then we took a little road trip yesterday morning. It was the first time I've been to Globe, Arizona in over 6 months and I loved every bit of it! When my shoulder is back in working order I want to go back and just spend a day photographing the old buildings there. The other part about this next picture is that I am officially obsessed with Instagram on my iPhone.
One more Instagram shot:
And there you have it. Other than our little jaunt yesterday, a fairly low-key weekend.
On this week's agenda: I start physical therapy for my shoulder today {hooray and ouch}. Getting ready for a double baby shower this weekend {we have two nieces who are pregnant at the same time!} and looking forward to some SIL and niece time.
Here's to all of us in the upcoming week!
May blessings abound.

Makes me wish I could tell Jay "I need the ocean" and have him whisk me away... but of course that's two and a half hours one way... and we still have kids at home... and it would be mighty chilly right about now...
looks like a lovely lunch spot! Whiskers seems to be enjoying his new view. So glad it's time for PT, it's not always fun but it makes a huge difference!
WOW! what a lunch spot! No mountains near here, but we do have the beach - 20 minutes either north or south gets me there. Too bad it is too cold and windy to eat there! Looks like a great weekend - hope the PT goes great!
Best of luck with that physical therapy! Your scenery is so different - it's a pleasure to see it
Hope the physio wasn't too painful!

Glad you guys had a good time and I'm happy you hung up the hummingbird feeders! :) Yay for Instagram!! Have you even downloaded Hipstamatic yet?
Hope the physio is not too painful and aids your road to recovery very quickly. Love your photos - especially of Whiskers watching the humming birds.
I'm sure the physical therapy will be a big help. I'm amazed at what they can do. Sadly, I have some experience here! Hope it goes well!
Sounds like a great weekend. Love the cat pics.
Sounds like a nice weekend - praying all will go well with physical therapy & that should will be as good as new soon so you can enjoy taking more photos!
