I had so much fun making this minibook for Doug for Valentine's Day! I used red and off-white duck cloth {canvas}, some red felt, cardstock, lace, buttons, and black and white photos. I sewed everything onto its page before sandwiching the pages together and hand stitching around the edge. And in true Deb form, I couldn't wait to give it to him!
♥He loved it.

These cloth books are just amazing. This one for Doug is just so cute! I love the pictures of the two of you! So perfectly fitting for Valentine's Day!
I so wish I lived in your neighborhood - I love your creations!
Wonderful valentine for your wonderful guy! No wonder he loved it!
I think Doug must be a highly evolved member of the male species ... not that The Engineer doesn't love the stuff I make .. I just know I would be pushing things with that little beauty Doug received!
PS No need to inform Doug of these thoughts ... I wouldn't want it going to his head or anything like that! ;-)
That's some kind of wonderful itself! So cute! I'm not surprised he loved it, he's a lucky man! xx
How could he not love that little bundle of gorgeousness? xxx
It's beautiful and no wonder Doug loved it. My DH would be in the same vein as Amy's The Engineer!
The book is some kind of wonderful! Makes me want to do a photo shoot with my hubby because we really don't have many photos like that and the ones we do have are not of recent vintage!
of course he would love it. that is so cute.
I love it! I don't know that I could have waited either. :)
Oh, it's all felt-y and stitchy and lovely! Of course he loved it :)
It really is 'some kind of wonderful',Deb....just absolutely gorgeous....same as Doug by all accounts!!!!
Ahem ... isn't Valentines Day the 14th February???? Isn't that NEXT week?! I can see why you couldn't wait to show it to him though - what a lovely present! No wonder he was thrilled.
What a great creation! Funny - when I saw the first word I thought "que," as in the spanish word for "what," not as in "cue." I"m easily confused sometimes. . .

Ack! Sorry I'm just now looking at/commenting on this post. I LOVE how it turned out and I'm glad that Doug loves it too!
That is just so precious. It's more a gift for you than your husband I'm guessing ;D
Lovely!
I hope you know that you are really putting a lot PRESSURE on the rest of us.
Some kind of wonderful is very appropriate for your beautiful book. Have a great Valentine's Day! Adriana

Oh, so gorgeous :-)
Adorable Mini!!
All the stitching you added looks amazing and I really like how you embellished it and the colors makes it look very masculine.
