He's some kind of wonderful...

...so I made him this for Valentine's Day.

Some Kind of Wonderful...

:o)

I had so much fun making this minibook for Doug for Valentine's Day! I used red and off-white duck cloth {canvas}, some red felt, cardstock, lace, buttons, and black and white photos. I sewed everything onto its page before sandwiching the pages together and hand stitching around the edge. And in true Deb form, I couldn't wait to give it to him!

He loved it.

Wonderful valentine for your wonderful guy! No wonder he loved it!

I think Doug must be a highly evolved member of the male species ... not that The Engineer doesn't love the stuff I make .. I just know I would be pushing things with that little beauty Doug received!

PS No need to inform Doug of these thoughts ... I wouldn't want it going to his head or anything like that! ;-)

It's beautiful and no wonder Doug loved it. My DH would be in the same vein as Amy's The Engineer!

The book is some kind of wonderful! Makes me want to do a photo shoot with my hubby because we really don't have many photos like that and the ones we do have are not of recent vintage!

What a great creation! Funny - when I saw the first word I thought "que," as in the spanish word for "what," not as in "cue." I"m easily confused sometimes. . .

Adorable Mini!!
All the stitching you added looks amazing and I really like how you embellished it and the colors makes it look very masculine.
Thank you for submitting it at TST :)
