Of all my scrapbook embellishments, friends are my favorite.

Yesterday's craft day with friends was a huge success!
My face hurt at the end of the day from smiling so much.
:o)
We took lots of photos so I'll let them speak for myself...
And here's a group shot of our best friends from Recollections scrapbook store in Chandler {so sad when Michael's closed these stores!}. In front of me is Betsy {our store manager and best-boss-ever}. Then behind Betsy is me, Hollie, Carrie, Janae, and Barbara. Back row is Dana {Janae's mom}, Deb S., Michelle, Jacie, Jessica, Venessa, and Jennifer. {And Corri came a little later...}
Amazing that Marcus could sleep through all the chatter
{I think he might be faking.}

What a great day with an amazing group of women.
Carrie and I can't wait to do it again!!!

Deb and Carrie....Most fun day I have had in quite a while. So great to see everyone and catch up. I remembered that I loved working with you all, but now I remember why....still smiling from the day. Glad you got such great pictures of your "set up". It was wonderful to be treated to such thoughtful delights! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

How absolutely wonderfully lovely! I wish I lived near you... I would love to join in with such a fun day!
I love how much effort you made to make your friends welcome (it was you wasn't it?). They all looked so happy and busy. I'm sure lots of work was done, as well as lots of chat!
Marcus had his ears up - on alert, in spite of being "asleep" - after all, one of those delicious treats may have fallen on the floor and needed someone to "help" clear up!

I'm glad your day went well. Thank you for sharing it with us.

And I made something for you - look here! http://www.etsy.com/treasury/4d45cf126a4e6d9176486547/turning-turtle

Deb - Congrats on the win over at Scrappytree. Yours was a special album! I enjoyed visiting your blog. My daughter is a grad student at ASU! She has 1 1/2 years to go to get her PhD! Maybe we can meet up next time we are in Tempe!
