It's in the bag...

Here's a little look at the gift I gave my friend Samantha for Christmas. I gave it to her early so she could enjoy the Christmas-y stuff between now and the 25th. The bag is made of red duck cloth/canvas, there's a simple folded over reindeer notebook {don't you just love that stamp?}, and the tree box is one that I cut from my Cricut. Sam loves can koozies, and I found this striped one in the dollar bin at Michael's - embellished it up with a little feather boa. I also included some Christmas socks and cupcake liners not pictured in this shot. She loved her gift. :o}

I took a look at the calendar yesterday and realized that there's not much time left until the big day and I freaked out a little bit. I took this morning off work to get a few things done so hopefully that will help ease my panic. {breathe, Deb, breathe!!!} How are you doing with your holiday prep?

Darling gifts, Deb! I'm sure she loved them. I wrote a little "essay" about where I'm at right now for Shimelle's Christmas journal prompt. Now I just have to get it on the page! It's a mixed bag.

I'm done present-wise, apart from DH, but I have yet to give any thought to food ....

Oh my Gosh! Cutest reindeer EVER!!! Deb this is a terrific present! What a great friend you are and what a lucky girl she is! The house is mostly decorated and now I need to finish cleaning and organizing. Shopping and Christmas cards - not so much! Phew! We'll get there!

Fabulous gifts Deb! she is a lucky friend :)
I am almost there with getting ready, it doesn't help having someone's birthday to take care of as well but I should be used to that by now, lol!

I'm not surprised Sam loved the gift - so cute!
As for where I am, nowhere near where I'd like to be!! I'm afraid Alice is a bit of a time stealer at the moment and Christmas is taking 2nd place. I freaked this week too when I realised how little time I have to get organised. I've now done some online shopping and am hoping things will come together on time! Trying not to stay in a permanent panic! ;-) xx

Well, food is sort of organised, presents are a nightmare as no one seems want to tell me what they want-it's hard when they are grown up ! Love your gift and that reindeer stamp is gorgeous :-)

Don't worry too much Deb - it will all come together, afterall, it seems to every year despite how stressed and anxious we can become!

Gorgeous gift!

And dont worry, every year we face the Christmas stress, and then every year somehow it all turns out OK. I just have food prep, present wrapping and a little more shopping for stocking stuffers to do.

So cute! What a fun assortment of gifts inside. I think the little journal would be so useful this time of year, and I adore all reindeer stamps.

I've just played catch up here, and thoroughly enjoyed myself :-) What a gorgeous gift, Deb! Lucky friend! And I loved your cute candles, and your little Christmas stories. We're still at the 'mish-mash' of decorations stage, and that's right for us with the children at their ages, but one day I'll have a beautiful coordinated tree too! xx

beautiful little gift! i don't even want to THINK about how behind I am with my December planes - I think I've only managed to complete ONE of the things on my list this year! there's still time to get more done, but I'm already writing a list for 2011.
