The sewing machine is a wonderful link to have between you both. And your step fathers gift to you was very sweet. I guess he knows that you are the perfect person for it. My Nana gave me her sewing machine a few years ago as she can't use it any more.. it's probably from the 1970s (judging by the instruction booklet!) and it works great. I should really sew more.. for pleasure and for domestic purposes!SarahLPhttp://paperobsession.typepad.co.uk/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882176416659082850.post-77903646073873597702010-09-07T09:06:52.003-07:002010-09-07T09:06:52.003-07:00I wish I would have learned to sew from my grandmo...I wish I would have learned to sew from my grandmother. I only knew one of my grandparents (my father's mother); she passed away when I was about 10. I inherited her silver (through my dad) and much of her hand-made lace. We also have several crocheted quilts she made for us over the years.<br />RindaMaria Ontiveroshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00120998825608732473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6882176416659082850.post-57780209358580942572010-09-05T09:07:45.274-07:002010-09-05T09:07:45.274-07:00I agree with Sian's comments.... lucky you.
