Scrapbook Convention - fun times!

This is us leaving our house to go to the scrapbook convention.

Ok...and here's me, standing in front of a glorious wall of ribbon. I swore I wouldn't buy any ribbon and I did keep my promise, but it was tough!

Yay! I'm finished with this little project. :o) My friend Judy knitted some dish cloths for me before Christmas last year and I told her I'd return the favor with a craft of my own. (Have you ever washed dishes with knitted or crocheted dish cloths? REEEEALLY cool!)
She has these two adorable little grandsons -- I snagged the pix from her daughter's Facebook (thanks Allison) and put them in a little book for her. Even though we live fairly close, we rarely see each other so I'm putting this in the mail and having it be a snail mail surprise. Can't wait to hear how she likes it! When is the last time you sent someone snail mail?

This weekend I carved some stamps

of my own and had SO much fun.

This is just what I need. A new hobby with not-so-many-tools-to-do-it[yet].
My head is spinning with ideas...
